Operation 2 Mission 2 After action Report.
Players started by the elevator and were told that the height of the ceiling was level 6. This meant that any jump of 4 or more had the potential to damage their 'Mech.
Early on they were greeted by a Warhammer C and two Oro Heavy tanks. Flanking the side entrance was a Shadowcat Prime supported by a Hunchback IIC. Additionally 5 points of elementals guarded the base. The base itself had twin dual wielding large pulse laser turrets. By the rear entrance a Black Hawk B and Cauldron-Born Prime were in wait.
The players smartly split their forces with 5 units heading towards the warhammer and 3 guarding the side entrance. Redgrave took major damage early as well as the Sunder which fell to a second head hit from the turret. The owens attempted to move to the base with the Sunder and Conjuror only to be met by the Hunchback after taking damage Plainsrider fell back to the MFB's where Redgrave was repairing to change to the Firestarter.
No major additional damage was suffered by the players. Mostly armor and weapon expenditure. The highlight of the night was the Shadowcat carrying in a point of elementals so they could swarm Redgrave while he was repairing.
Multiple mods and repairs were made. Here is where the players stand.
